3 Months

Wow, another month has passed! Beckett is very chatty these days and is rolling over like crazy! I bet he'll be an early crawler. His smiles and giggles melt my heart. His little personality is so sweet. One of our favorite things he does is when we take his shirt off he closes his eyes and smiles. He still loves baths and had his first swim day at grandma and grandpas! First Day Back

Yesterday was my first day back to work. The day, especially the morning, was rough. I had warm welcomes from my coworkers though, and my parents and sister sent me beautiful flowers and a sweet note to brighten my day. It's hard to believe my three-month maternity leave has already come to an end. I had such an amazing time being home with my little guy, and I'm so thankful for it. I wish I could spend more than just the evenings and weekends with him, but I think I will accept it more each day and each day will get easier. His daddy hasn't started school yet, so at least he gets to spend the next three weeks at home with him. He'll go to daycare August 11. That will be another hard day!

            

2 months

Our sweet little guy is 2 months old! His personality is starting to come out, and he's smiling and "oo-ing" a lot. At his 2-month checkup, the nurse said he's very strong for his age. He has been holding his head up so well for a few weeks now, and on June 29th he rolled over for the first time! He weighs about 12 pounds and is almost 24 inches long.

Newborn Session

I can't believe my little man is 6 weeks old! Looking at these newborn photos makes me realize he's already growing up so fast! It was so much fun to have my sister-in-law capture our day. Visit her blog and check out some of the images and video.

Welcome Beckett Scott

Our little man came into the world on April 25, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and was 19.5 inches long. He is perfect as can be! My beyond talented sister-in-law documented my birth story. I'm so fortunate to have this to look back on for years to come. It's hard to put such an incredible and life-changing day into words, but the images and video she captured do it justice. Home Stretch

I'm 39 weeks—where did the time go?! I had an appointment last Monday, and my doctor thinks little Beckett will come right around his due date like planned. Possibly less than a week to go before we get to meet our little guy!

Little Beckett's Showers

My best friends Sarah and Lauren hosted my family and friends' shower on my birthday. It was such a perfect day! The theme was vintage to go along with the nursery. It was so great to see everyone and celebrate the little man.

My friend Megan hosted Beckett's work/friends' shower. My mom was able to be in town for it as well. It was adorable, just as I expected! All of the little pieces and elements were so cute. I especially loved the little drink straws and bow tie silverware :)
